Hollyhill Black Beauty

This might be my number 1 favorite dahlia in the garden! It is the most consistent, prolific bloomer with a beautiful shape that changes as it fully opens. Survived Tropical Storm Henri this summer without a break in blooms. A must grow dahlia. Small (BB), Informal Decorative 4”-6” bloom on 5’ plants. Notice that I can’t stop taking pictures of it? It started me on my Hollyhill obsession!

Hollyhill Black Beauty was introduced in 2021 by Ted and Margaret Kennedy of Hollyhill Dahlias in Oregon City, Oregon. It won the American Dahlia Society’s Stanley Johnson Medal.
